Zach and Heather are engaged!

Once upon an August 20th in Manhattan, just before the stroke of midnight, after a Jersey Boys show on Broadway and flying in from LA (and a trip to Barnes and Noble) and a short walk to Central Park with Moroni peeking through the leaves--Zach popped the question. Here is a shot at the exact spot just moments after. (Yay for cameras with timers! Heather ran all the way over before the flash!)


What an amazing moment, we sang a bit, danced a bit, cried a bit and just swirled around the park in the feeling of it all.

Em asked, "On a scale of 1-10, how surprised was she?" Heather said, "11. Maybe 15."

What about the 1940's vintage Tiffany's dream ring she's been hoping for for years? "I can't believe you did half that amazing. It's perfect. It's better than perfect."

Surely one of my biggest, happiest smiles ever. I love you Heather.
