The Ponds returned to Idaho roots this past weekend, and loved the Sawtooth Mountains and camping at Redfish Lake! We sure missed Kyle who was back in Indiana being a diligent dental student - but we loved the cool mountain air and the beautiful drive! But first, we stopped in Twin Falls to go thru the Temple Open House!

What a beautiful temple! And really nice reception afterward. This was Ethan's first day of wearing his "dad costume", which is what he called the new white shirt and tie we bought him for the occasion!

We love our boys! (pay no attention to the woman behind the curtain...)

And now on to the camping! "Let's go touch the boat" -- Redfish lake is so beautiful!

It was a cold cold night - down to about 38 degrees!

But what a great morning!

Ever heard of Mr. Stand on One Leg??

Mom finally got the idea that I wanted some Hot Oatmeal!!

At the cabin in Stanley - Number one sons in our family!

A view from the cabin -- we missed Grammy and Grandad, and are so grateful for the homestead and heritage they left us!

At the cabin -- 29 years after Grandad and Grammy bought it, and painstakingly planted trees and grass and so much for all of us to enjoy. I'm sure they were delighted to see all 70 of us there enjoying it so much. Special thanks to Linda and Kent for taking such great care of the "place for Pond posterity"!

I'm so jealous. What I wouldn't do for a camping vacation in Utah or Idaho to escape the steamy summer of San Antonio. I can't believe how big Emily's boys are getting. Such fun.
