Always nice to hear from the Dean...

Baylor posted some pics from their recent competition. They get pretty good in the 50s and 80s if you ask me...

And it's always nice to hear from the Dean in a personal email...

Subject: Congratulations!

I got an email from the Dean of the business school at Baylor University (I was at Baylor before coming to Pepperdine, and know the dean there very well). He was emailing to congratulate our team on winning their ethical leadership case competition. I can't tell you how proud I was to learn that you won the competition. I know you worked very hard in preparation and it is good to see that pay off. It is also great given our significant emphasis on ethical leadership - and a side benefit is seeing us win against my former school and some other very good MBA programs!

Thanks for representing the school so well! I am very proud of each one of you.

And the Director too....

Congratulations! I'm so very pleased with the results of the competition along with your commitment to excellence (please note the cite below). We have our public relations team working on speading the word. In addition, our recruiting group will be singing your praises as they travel throughout the world. If possible I hope all of you are able to attend the All Student Meeting, Thursday, 12 - 1 pm, this week, so we can acknowledge your achievement in the presence of your peers.
